Kalevala x Marimekko Garden Pendant necklace 60cm with Rantakukka and Paahde charm
The Kalevala x Marimekko Garden pendant necklace is a modern chain designed especially for charms, while remaining elegant on its own. Charms are attached with a spring ring clasp, and the length (60 cm) of the oval pea chain can be easily adjusted to any desired length. The pendant necklace is designed to suit everyone.
The starting point for Japanese designer Masaru Suzuki’s Rantakukka print was a small, almost unnoticed flower. Suzuki focused his attention on the flower and magnified it into a monumental form. The motif, now interpreted as a silver charm, reminds us that even the smallest details can carry surprising meaning.
Designer Aino-Maija Metsola’s Paahde print is inspired by sunflowers grown in her vegetable garden. They grew exceptionally tall and striking, their heavy flower heads bending the stems. The Paahde charm works on its own or as part of a larger whole.
