Mono Backpack Outline Unikko
The Mono Backpack is made of organic cotton, and it features the Piirto Unikko pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The large Marimekko “M” is printed in the front. The backpack has a zipper closure, adjustable shoulder straps, and two open pockets in the front. There is a large open pocket on the inside big enough to fit a laptop. The ends of the zipper can be attached to the sides of the bag with snap buttons.
The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of Unikko, one of the most recognized Marimekko print designs in the world. Piirto Unikko is a stylized, airy variation of the beloved floral created by Maija Isola in 1964. It nods to minimalism while emphasizing the graphic lines of the Unikko pattern.
