Kurre & Ketunmarja Mug 2.5DL 2pc Set
This set includes two 2.5 dl Oiva mugs. The mugs feature the Kurre and Ketunmarja patterns and golden metallic pigment details. Due to the golden details, we recommend washing the mugs by hand. Not to be used in a microwave oven.
The mugs are made of white stoneware.
This set is packed in the Marimekko Logo pattern box.
Extending Aino-Maija Metsola’s tales from the forest, the Kurre (squirrel) pattern presents a lively brood of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts – squirrels were a common sight in the designer’s childhood yard. The initial artwork was created on paper using a brush and ink.
Exuding mysterious enchantment, the Ketunmarja (foxberry) pattern by Aino-Maija Metsola features foxes that have crept at dusk into a garden with little birds sitting in a yew tree.
