Marimekko and CASETiFY are launching together first limited-edition collaboration collection.

The collection brings Marimekko’s celebrated printmaking heritage into the world of modern essentials. From Maija Isola’s iconic Unikko to Erja Hirvi’s expressive Kukasta kukkaan and Lemmitty, alongside the timeless Marimekko logo, each piece translates bold floral storytelling into objects designed to move with you. Spanning phone cases, tablet covers, smartwatch straps, charms, and cardholders, the collection transforms daily tech into small, joyful works of art.

“We are thrilled to introduce our collaboration with CASETiFY, which brings the art of printmaking into everyday life in inspiring ways. Filled with optimism and color, the products in the collection are perfect companions for holiday adventures or everyday hustle and bustle, ” says Sanna-Kaisa Niikko, Chief Marketing Officer, Marimekko.

KukastaKukkaan

Design: Erja Hirvi, 2024

Erja Hirvi brought the joyfully blossoming Kukasta kukkaan print to life during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, fully immersed in floral inspiration. The loosely conceived pattern emerged as she painted, capturing the myriad ways flowers appear in nature. The Finnish name of the design translates to “from flower to flower” –a nod to the playful flight of bumblebees among summer blooms.

Lemmitty

Design: Erja Hirvi, 2024

Erja Hirvi’s lively floral motif Lemmitty draws inspiration from freehand sketching. Sometimes, the most delightful results come from intuition rather than careful planning. The Finnish name of the pattern translates to “sweetheart.”

Unikko

Design: Maija Isola, 1964

Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964 and has since become an international icon of print design. The founder of Marimekko, Armi Ratia, believed that it was not possible to faithfully capture the true essence of real flowers in print, which is why floral prints were earlier excluded from Marimekko collections. So, Maija Isola designed Unikko to be an abstraction of a flower rather than a photorealistic rendition. Today, Unikko is a powerful emblem of joy and creativity, seamlessly integrated into Marimekko's design identity.
