Sanna Annukka is a British-Finnish printmaker and textile designer who graduated from the University of Brighton in the UK.
Sanna draws inspiration from Finnish traditions, nature, and folklore. Her first Marimekko print, designed in 2008, was based on her favorite story from the Finnish national epic, the Kalevala. Among her most famous Marimekko designs are Kanteleen kutsu (Kantele Call) and Kuunsade (Moonburst).
