Jenni Tuominen is a Finnish illustrator and designer based in Porvoo, Finland, who won the Finnish National Prize for Illustration in 2017. She graduated as a blacksmith and artist/printmaker.
Jenni also studied graphic design at the Helsinki University of Art and Design. In 2006, she won a Marimekko design competition with her Unessa (Deep Sleep) print and has continued to collaborate with Marimekko ever since. Some of Jenni's most famous Marimekko designs include Jätski (Ice Cream), Tuubiraita (Tube Stripe), and Marikylä (Mali Village). To commemorate Marimekko's 70th anniversary, she collaborated with designer Sami Ruotsalainen to create a series of ceramic figurines for collections called Marikyläläiset (Villagers of Mali).
