Globally renowned for its expressive floral patterns, Marimekko first introduced the idea of floral abstractions in its collections in the 1960s. In recent years, Marimekko has continued to evolve this legacy by commissioning new floral designs to its ever-growing archive of over 3,500 prints to date.
Designed to delight and surprise, the pop-up tour invites you to step into the bold and colorful world of Marimekko’s art of printmaking. The pop-up opens in Leighton Road Flagship store on 13 Aug 2026 and runs until 13 Sep 2026 in Hong Kong.

The collaboration with JUST BLOOM flower shop at Wan Chai unfolds as a conceptual Marimekko flower market, where visitors are invited to compose their own bouquet, wrapped in a fabric of their choice. Visual content from Marimekko’s textile printing factory in Helsinki, Finland — where the bold prints and colors come to life— further transports print lovers to experience the unique process of Marimekko’s art of printmaking.
Erja Hirvi brought the joyfully blossoming Kukasta kukkaan print to life during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, fully immersed in floral inspiration. The loosely conceived pattern emerged as she painted, capturing the myriad ways flowers appear in nature. The Finnish name of the design translates to “from flower to flower” – a nod to the playful flit of bumblebees among summer blooms.
